Craftflix & Chill
Do you love to craft? Do you also love to watch movies while you craft? Then you have found your people. We are a group of craft enthusiasts who get together to enjoy our hobbies, watch a great movie, eat some snacks, and perhaps do a little socializing. I'm sure your couch/chair is very, very comfortable, but why not spend a few hours on a different couch/chair and share space with the best folks on the planet, CRAFTERS!

The movie will start around 6:30 pm, but we'll be there at 6 pm to ooohhh and ahhhh over what everyone is making and grab a cozy spot to get settled in to.
Feel free to bring snacks! We will have snack trays available (includes a soda, box of candy, and bag of popcorn) for a donation of $5 (just to cover costs; any profits get donated to the library (non-profit 501(3)(C) facility).
Please be mindful of the shared space and bring a craft of choice that you can complete in your lap or with minimal extra space required.

Trivia Night with Contrarian Librarians
Do you know a little bit about everything?
Assemble your squad of know-it-alls and know-a-littles and come show off your knowledge of movies, TV, music, pop culture, history, and assorted nonsense at this free, general trivia night on Saturday, July 26, at 6 pm at Fairmount Community Library. The top teams will win prizes!
This event is intended for adults (21+) and is BYOB, so get a sitter and bring your beverage of choice to enjoy while you play.

Bring your current work in progress and come hang out with us and watch this laugh out loud comedy directed by the king of 80s classics, John Hughs.
The movie will start around 6:30pm but we'll be there at 6pm to ooohhh and ahhhh over what everyone is making and grab a cozy spot to get settled in to.
Feel free to bring snacks! We will have snack trays available (includes a soda, box of candy and bag of popcorn) for a donation of $5 (just to cover costs; any profits get donated to the library (non-profit 501(3)(C) facility).
Please be mindful of the shared space and bring a craft of choice that you can complete in your lap or with minimal extra space required.

Thursday Crafternoon
Due to the Summer Mini-Break, in July, we are meeting on the second Thursday of the month!
Join us on the first Thursday of each month for a crafting session. We will have materials for open and/or led crafting. This event is great for anyone of any age who enjoys creating. This is a come-and-go event. Guests under 12 must be in attendance with an adult.

Busy Babies
Are you a new parent looking to connect with other new parents and their littles? Join us for Busy Babies!
This is a low-key chance for your little to meet other littles, a chance for YOU to meet other new parents over coffee, and a chance to practice those tummy time skills.
Busy Babies (littles, age 6 weeks - 18 months) meets typically on the first and third Tuesday of the month. In July, we will meet on Thursday, July 10 and 24 at 10:30 am.
